House Training....can be achieved almost as quickly as “you” want to.

Remember - you’re in charge!
The “secret” - as with most things to do with dogs - is “routine”. Your little puppy is very keen to be“accepted” by you and your pack It needs “you” to show him “how”...you’re the leader… got it? So…
When you’re absolutely sure that it’s finally finished… give loads and loads and loads of praise… very, very important!
Return to the same place each time, and it will soon learn the name of the game. (It will also quickly realise that the sooner it’s over - the sooner it gets back inside for a cuddle - and hopefully a biscuit or two!)
Keep this up for a week - or three -and you should have an almost completely house trained puppy. Don’t expect it to regularly last all night for at least the first six months.
Please - don’t lose your temper if it makes a “mistake” - it doesn’t work that way. It will soon get the message that if it wants your attention; it needs to be good. You certainly don’t want it to get the idea that a good way to get your attention is to be bad!
A key stage in all this is the first time that it manages to last all night. If you come down one morning and see this - give loads and loads of praise and take it out as usual, still giving loads of praise. If, the next day, you come down to find a mess, just take it out and, when it’s done, give the usual praise - but not so much as on the “successful”
morning!
“Think positive - praise for success…ignore for mistakes”

- First thing in the morning…
- Every time it wakes up…
- After every meal…
- About every hour in between…
- And last thing at night…
